I am just wondering, for those who use ebay and paypal have you ever had bad experience with either of them? Like i know paypal can freeze your account for no reason cause it has happened to me. And ebay fees just keep getting larger.

If there was a new site like ebay and paypal the was completely 100 percent free would you make the switch?

Just wondering!

thanks

Someone on eBay wants to send me a cheque from America (I would normally expect overseas bidders to pay by PayPal!) it is drawn out in dollars, so can I accept this? I key cheques for a living and we do not accept cheques from a different currency, they have to be special GBP cheques. So what can I do, advice would be great?

Ok. We have to find the present value of a bond for $1,200,000 at a rate of 10%; the market rate is now 8%. I figured out the present value is $1,200,120, but im not sure how to record it. I have to do any entry for the issue date, and the adjusted date.

If you don't know how but you know a good website, that's fine with me. Thanks!

I recently phoned NTL and told them I was thinking of changing to Sky. They immediately lowered my rates.

If they are prepared to keep me on this much lower rate, then by definition they have been overcharging me for the previous few years. Can I claim any money back from them? Is there any legal precedent here?

Thanks,

Ed.

I live in a shared house with three other people, one of whom is a w*nker. He eats everyones food doesn't pay his bill money, doesn't clean up after himself, is increadibly aggresive, and constantly threatens us. Today he set fire to the cats whiskers. We can't kick him out until we have found a way of covering his rent. Pls help!
So far we have thought of working as phone sex operators, and the possibility of selling knickers on line... if anyones got any ideas pls help (We are all students and all have jobs which we work 30hrs a week for, so ideas involving not much effort would prob be the most useful), Ta.x

I think the Feds allowed this to happen, promising "the American Dream" to those who could ill afford it. I wonder what a saleperson at a Mercedes Dealer would say if you walked in with $50 down on a $100,000 Car.
