I am just wondering, for those who use ebay and paypal have you ever had bad experience with either of them? Like i know paypal can freeze your account for no reason cause it has happened to me. And ebay fees just keep getting larger.

If there was a new site like ebay and paypal the was completely 100 percent free would you make the switch?

Just wondering!

thanks

I love eBay and Paypal. The only problem I have ever encountered was from RJaneZachary who sold something to me for $200.00 plus shipping. I paid with paypal right away and after a couple of weeks with no contact, I reported that I didn't get my stuff. They froze the sellers account and I only got 62 cents back! (Only 62 cents was left in the account that this seller used.)
Sure Paypal charges fees, but they are providing a service too. It's nice to get paid right away when you sell something. If a new site came along that didn't charge fees, I would be skeptical and sit back and watch it for a while before I could make a decision.

I haven't had any bad experiences with Paypal (knock on wood!), but I would like to find a site like eBay that charged less fees but with the high volume of traffic that eBay has.

I don't like paying the fees either. Sometimes, I just use craigslist to sell things I don't need. You can post a photo for free and there is no charge to post your add either. You don't have the world looking at your add, but sometimes things sell alot faster than on ebay where you have to relist and then pay another fee. Good luck.

I have used both of them and I'm happy to say that I haven't had any problems with either of them. Possibly I have been lucky. I don't know.
