I only want to hear from someone who knows for sure on this, because they've done it or are an attorney who does this for people.
I have an idea I want to patent. Where do I start?

I have just sold a text book to someone through ebay's half.com. The buyer received the book and is now requesting a refund and he will send the book back. He said he dropped the class the book was required for and doesn't need the book. After thouroughly reading half.com's policies, I think that I don't not need to refund him. I have quite a busy schedule right now and having to go to the trouble to return the money and sell the book again not only takes more of my time, but I'm losing money I may need in the near future.

Do I legally have to give him a refund? I don't want to get in any disagreement where I have to spend more of my time.

I am currently a full time student in an evening paralegal program. I wanted to intern at a law firm to gain more on the job experience.I started networking with different law firms going and introducing myself personally. One attorney told me that it would be good if I can have a "networking" card just like business card mentioning that I am currently a student and seek experience in a law firm.
Can anyone help me with the wordings? I would also like to know what kind of resume can I use to go with the card, I have not much of an experience in any one field, I was a teacher for 9 months, I was a product demonstrator for 8 months and so on. Thank you all

It was my first job out of college, so when something didn't feel right, I thought it was just me, however, I have recently found out that this company not only scams their employees out of their paychecks, but they scam customers. They're called Cambridge/ Empire/ and Manchester Who's Who, and they change their name and location often. When I worked there, they were based in a nice office building in Uniondale, (Long Island) NY. I recently heard the people in management positions don't even use their real names. The business claims to be a well-known and respected networking tool for business professionals. They have already been reported to the Better Business Bureau, and the complaints are staggering. Check them out:

My parents are in serious debt due to the total standstill of the real estate market. They own two properties in Florida.. one in the Port charlotte area that is a newly built house and one in the Sarasota area that is a old house but totally newly renovated with a huge lot. Also the house that they live in has been for sale for almost a year with no success. NOTHING is selling with little interest. Is there any help they can seek to try to "ride out" these horrible real estate times until things get better? All they need is to sell one property and it will save them. Also their income is low. Thank you for the help.
