I am currently a full time student in an evening paralegal program. I wanted to intern at a law firm to gain more on the job experience.I started networking with different law firms going and introducing myself personally. One attorney told me that it would be good if I can have a "networking" card just like business card mentioning that I am currently a student and seek experience in a law firm.
Can anyone help me with the wordings? I would also like to know what kind of resume can I use to go with the card, I have not much of an experience in any one field, I was a teacher for 9 months, I was a product demonstrator for 8 months and so on. Thank you all

I've never seen that done, and I suggest you speak with the internship coordinator or placement office of your school, where they can help you with this idea.

I would suggest that you use a resume. If you want to enclose cards, I suggest you keep it simple, with your contact information and a generic title such as "paralegal student, anticipated graduation 2008." Attorney could choose to keep one or the other, or, if you enclose several, possibly pass a card to a colleague.

get yourself a printed business cards, cover letter to send to law firms for internship. Tell them you are looking to do some intern work. Or go to the job placement department department in your school and have them provide you with some contacts. Other thing is, you can get e-mail addresses in the sunday newspaper under employment with Law Firms addresses and contact information. Good luck to you.

I have a business opportunity where there are lawyers who have given up their professions just to do this business. In about 2 to 5 years you could retire from any business, if you want. In reality it requires only 1 to 3 hours daily, so you still have time to do what you want to do. Is a networking company. Is in Sandy Utah and is in 40 different countries including many states in USA. If you want more inf.. just email me at fredojr77@yaahoo.com
