We have credit card debt of $72k. (cancer treatment costs) We have excellent credit and own two homes, but are cash poor and have the high credit card debt that we want to pay off

WE WANT TO PAY OFF THE $72K AND HAVE A CUSHION OF AT LEAST $25K. Here is the break-down:
HOME #1 PAYOFF - $279K, WORTH $425K (currently rented covering payments)
HOME #2 PAYOFF - $245K, WORTH $425K(currently live in but want sell and leave the area in the next year or two)

SELL A HOUSE AND PAY OFF DEBT, LEAVING CASH IN THE BANK OR KEEP GREAT REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS AND GET A LOAN OF $100K, PAY OFF DEBT LEAVING $28 CASH IN BANK. We just can't wait another year or two to pay off the credit card debt because we are broke each month after paying bills, and need some relief now.

Both homes are in hot markets. Dallas/Ft Worth & White Mountains Arizona.

Any ideas or help are much appreciated!!

Hey guys. I enjoy investing in individual stocks instead of investing in ETF's or Mutual Funds. It's fun for me and I don't like spending money for the expense ratios. My question is..for anyone out there that knows how to build stock portfolios, how many individual stocks are recommended when building a portfolio. Also, does every sector have to be involved? Thanks guys!

I have about $300 to $500 I want to start out with and I will eventually be putting in about $200 to $500 per month after that. What is my next move here? I'm a total novice so please talk down to me. Best Answer will be awarded to the answerer with the most thorough and simplified information.

THANK YOU!!!

I'm trying to find out how the bond and equity markets are linked. Any diagrams, graphs and text would be much appreciated; the longer the better!

If I understand correctly, the two used to be positively correlated until around 2000, when a negative correlation started to set in, with the two correlated most negatively in 2003; however there are signs that they may be starting to become positively correlated now. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong, preferably along with your opinion and why the two are positively/negatively correlated and why this has changed over time.

Any other links between the two markets would be greatly appreciated.

I'm only 16, so I would be grateful if you could use (relatively) simple terms and not stuff taught in economics at degree level!

Thanks for your help.

I'm 19 and want to start investing in the market. What is the best way to start? I understand the basics but don't know the channel I should go through to actually buy stocks and create a portfolio. What should I do?

sometimes the price of the stock on the market will be above or below the buy out price. For instance even after HLT had been given an offer and the news made public, the price still moves about during the day. Why is that?

I am a small business owner with a few rental properties. I am looking for a partner/investor to help fund my next project. This person can specifically help with seed money OR can help with the entire project. The details can be worked out later but I need someone willing to put in $$$. This project will have EXCELLENT revenue and you will see your investment back in no time! It is in real estate so if your familiar with multi-family housing that would be a plus (not necessary though). The property is listed at 3.8m with a minimum deposit of 20%.
Let me know if your interested! This STEAL won't last long!
