Thinking of starting llc where myself and multiple "partners" or "investors" contribute funds, and then purchase multi-unit housing, holding them for 5 to 10 year periods. My question is, to begin a venture like this, do I need any special licensing or legal representation (aside from forming LLC within state)?

Any advice or experienced wisdom would be greatly appreciated. It does not appear to be too risky if you select the right properties, but I am unsure on things such as;

A) Setting up early withdrawl penalties for investors
B) What I should charge as the person bringing this all together
C) Is this recommendable, or a formula for disaster

Thanks in advance!

I have a restrictive stocks certificate but I couldn't find any broker to want to sell them, the stocks are under 1 dollar a share. That is why I want to talk with someonce who recently has been under this stress, to consolate me and perhaps give me a free tip.Thanks.

There are a bunch out there but none of the ones I have tried (like VSE) seem to work. It's ok if it uses delayed data but it can't do this ignore limit orders/fill market orders at random times and random prices thing. Thanks.

It would take a million years.
OK here goes.....I'm sorry I f I offended anyone with the idea of charity, but it is a last resort. To clear up a few points
1, I'm in a very strong, supportive relationship. He works and provides.
2, I can afford to bring the children up, but I can't afford to take a whole block month or so off, because I will not be able to pay my mortgage.
3, I hate the scum that don't contribute to taxes(for no good reason). I was told, by the government, that I was not entitled to a roof over my head, because I work (if I didn't work, I would be entitled to a flat).
4. If you didn't like the idea, find out a little more about me. Or shut the f*ck up. It was just an idea.
5. Thankyou for the few people who didn't "follow the crowd" with their answers.

I have a 3 year old son. We have put some money into a savings account and mutual funds in his name, so that when he's older he can make a deposit on a house, buy a car, pay College Fees, etc, etc.

Given that the money isn't going to be touched for 15 years does anyone want to suggest alternative investments that might give a better return than mutual funds? Please keep the suggestions sensible, medium risk is OK for some of the money but I don't want to have to tell my son he can't go to College because I blew the money on a business start up or golf course in the Sahara.

I live in the US and would like to open a savings account to have some emergency money set aside, but I was wondering whether it is possible to open an online account denominated in euros rather than dollars. The purpose is to earn interest while simultaneously benefitting from weakness in the dollar.
