If you don't know, then don't bother posting a response. Thanks.

There are seemingly infinate websites that provide data on IPO's

Try this one, its pretty good: http://www.hoovers.com/global/ipoc/

if that one doesnt do it just google search IPO's and start sifting thru them. Yahoo has a calander and some info on it in the finance section as well.

As far as trading in them, I assume you mean how do you get an allocation. That is not easy if the issue is hot, the best you can usually do is put in an indication with your broker and cross your fingers. If you get everything you put in for be careful - its kind of like not wanting to be in any club that would have you as a memeber : ) .

Don't bother trying that unless you know an insider who can get their hands on shares before they start trading. It's a crap shoot just like anything else. The volatility is crazy, and if you don't even know anything about them, you probably don't have experience trading anything.

You can get the info OK, but what good does it do if you can't get the order filled. When Netscape opened, I stayed home all day trying to buy it through Schwab, glad I didn't get it now.
