It would take a million years.
OK here goes.....I'm sorry I f I offended anyone with the idea of charity, but it is a last resort. To clear up a few points
1, I'm in a very strong, supportive relationship. He works and provides.
2, I can afford to bring the children up, but I can't afford to take a whole block month or so off, because I will not be able to pay my mortgage.
3, I hate the scum that don't contribute to taxes(for no good reason). I was told, by the government, that I was not entitled to a roof over my head, because I work (if I didn't work, I would be entitled to a flat).
4. If you didn't like the idea, find out a little more about me. Or shut the f*ck up. It was just an idea.
5. Thankyou for the few people who didn't "follow the crowd" with their answers.

What it is they say about cutting your cloth....? You seem to think that everyone who is on benefit is scum; that it automatically entitles you to being housed; that people who are unemployed have never actually paid into the pot - yet many have and are as entitled as you to claim out of it again. I don't have and never plan to have children - yet I don't get to choose where my taxes are spent and a lot of it is spent on other peoples children (education, child benefit etc etc). I've paid in a hell of a lot of tax through the years - money that your children will benefit from too, if I had to claim jobseekers allowance I'd have every flippin' right to. And if you think that living off £56 a week is a breeze you can think again. Its estimated that a single person needs a minimum of £110 a week after their rent/mortgage has been paid to lift them above the poverty line so on that basis decent people who are out of work are being forced to live way below that poverty line. I tried once to get housing too, because I was single I was told I was a non-priority and would have to wait about 7 years at least.

If you want to indulge yourself and have another kid its your choice. Good you work, good you can afford to raise the kids...except you can't because the whole point of your various questions on this are that you can't afford the initial time off to have the baby, although I don't understand why because you are entitled to maternity leave which should cover you so I don't actually understand what your problem is as maternity pay is paid at 90% of your average weekly pay - surely you could put a little aside between now and then to make up that shortfall? if you're not sure what your maternity pay rights are click on the link below - it may be that you didn't realise what you were entitled to in which case this should be some help.

At the end of the day I don't judge you on what you choose, just don't judge other people either. Parents are getting increased rights and the divide between those who have and don't have kids is going to widen if people don't try to respect each others choices in life.

I not angry at you. I see why you upset a few people there though. The problem is that a lot of us are struggling to survive anyway. I have been in and out of hospital for the past couple of years for different reasons and I have to pay medical bills every time I do go in. I work yet I owe about 20 000 dollars in unpaid fees and will maybe end up with debt collectors on my door soon. I'm not upset because I realise that you want a baby and to raise it yourself but I do understand that everyone thinks that they deserve money for some reason. I suggest you wait until you have the money to take time off and then think about a child. You can't expect us to donate as I'm sure a lot of us have our own problems to worry about. Sorry if this sounds unkind. If I could help you I would.

If u want a baby, ur hubby and u need 2 get 2 gether and discuss this. Maybe he can take a part-time job 4 a few months. Or start putting enough money back NOW and then when u have enough, get pregnant. This is between ur husband and u. That is called being responsible. U have 2 understand why people were appalled. The last resort would b 2 not have another child. kudeekadee

Im sorry but i find this offensive calling all people on benefits scum this is out of order im a single mother who as been to college and university and iv had to go back on income support till early next year untill i go back to university to continue my nursing studies. dont place all people in the same boat as you dont know the situation of every individual who are on benefits yes i do agree there are some people who can work or get a better education but they prefer to lazy about all day living scot free i do not agree with people like this believe me i hate living like this i cant afford to eat some days due to the lack of money i have coming in, so before you go shouting your mouth of get your facts right before labeling people!!!!!!!

I fully agree with you. Why is it some people have to work their behinds off just to live, cannot afford holidays and the cheek of it all having to pay for other people to lay about doing nothing. One such lady is leaving for Disney-world soon for a month long trip to Usa with her little boy and newborn baby [ or should i call him extra cash]. We have never been to Usa and will never be able to afford it. I see them as leeches, blood-suckers living off hard-working people's earnings.
