Hey,

There were about 400 IPO’s (initial public offerings) during year 2000-2003 in NASDAQ. I managed to find the information on the first day but I need to find their share prices after 6 months, 1 year, 2, years and 3 years going public. What is the easiest and less time consuming way to get hold of this information?

I would appreciate if you e-mail me the data if you have or advice me what action to take. Thanks

and roughly 500 dollars in emergency/bill money in a checking account(i know no interest but its a small amount not accruing without the ties of an interest earning checking account) and college is costing me about 6k a year, so I will be in debt about 24k when i get out of college, but that's not for another 4 years... i have an monthly automatic deposit in a taxable interest bearing brokerage account now...

Should I purchase individual stock, or invest in a low expense, small cap or mid cap value fund? maybe 2? I have pretty high risk tolerance but i do worry about the market right now...

I'd like to invest $5000 but I don't know where to begin.
I'm considering speaking with my bank's Investment Advisor about it. Good idea?
I have about $40K in student loan debt. Should I put it towards that?
What would YOU do?

NOTE: I don't want to tie the money up for any longer than 5 years.

Thanks a lot!

I think I'm a worthwhile investment. I shall use the money wisely, investing it in promotion of my life and the qualities I most desire to get from it. I wish to change the world and through your donations I can do this.

I'm not a charity, but an investment. When you see me in the future improving the quality of life you'll know you've also done your bit for mankind.

So please, invest your money wisely and invest it in me. For how to pay, please email me.

Anyone?

This is an international finance and economics question. I also want to know the implication of such sterilization during a period of high inflation, a period of high unemployment, and during a period of stagflation.

If I begin investing, what is the average rate of returns will I get if I hire a competent portfolio manager to manage my investment? I've heard, long ago, that the average return on investment is around 12%. Is this true?

I am a bit confuse because when I look at bankrate.com, the average CD only give out 4.5% for a five year bond. I know stocks are different from CDs but can the difference be that much wide?

Anyways, if you do some investing or manage money, how much is the average return when you invest with an 'average risk'?

I'm new to all this so please share your insight.
