Hello group,

I was reading an old book on how to start a business and in there, there was a list of different companies such as
S Company
LLC and ...

As a matter of fact, I'm going to register a company with a partner and I'm thinking of S company to register.

Just to ensure I'm on right track; can sombody advise me on the this again?

1) My concern is a having a partner but with the least dependency to each other. Is there any business or contract between two partners that allows them to work in the same location and under same business name but with separated rights? or responsibility in financial matters? if so how?
So far I think the S company type is the best I rather go with but I will appreciate it if you give me some hints.

2)How can help me to create a contract and make it formal and verify it in terms of legal issues?

Regards,
Amit

1) Cutting/lowering Payroll is on the top three of priorities,
2) Forcing people to wait one year before qualifying for health and dental insurance,
3) Having to wait 7 years before becoming 100% vested otherswise they have to share profits,
4) Understaffing; undermployment such as part-time instead of full time and underpay,
5) Hiring Part-Timers instead of Full-Timers to maximize pay roll.
6) Buying cheap tools and software and enjoying easy tax write-offs,
7) The less people that retire the more money they keep
8) always legally reformulating accounting practices,
9) started a "club' within a "club." it means that every department has to pay rent and their tools. the managers do not pay for their office space and their supplies.
10) really stupid regulations such as the door greeter not allowed moving off a pad.

And, of course, they also sell diesel fuel there. My question is, have you seen truck parking places near the "fuel island" at Walmarts in your area? And do you think that Walmart is thinking about getting into the truck stop business?

I know that Exposition Press was a publishing company in Hicksville, New York until at least the late 1970's. I cannot find any evidence that they are still in business, but I was wondering if maybe they were purchased by a bigger company. I am trying to edit and re-publish a book which was originally published by them 30 years ago.

I've heard through the grapevine that store managers at starbucks only make around 40K (which is awful in my opinion). I just wanted to make sure my sources are correct. I applied at Starbucks to be a store manager before I did the resarch and I put down salary expectation to be 60K and I thought I was low-balling it. Oops. Oh well if they really do pay store managers that low then I'm better off where i'm at.

Wed night I got a call from a guy who said I was chosen to recieve a free $1000 shopping spree, and 3 free magazine subscriptions. I had a feeling this was a scam. Well he said they would send out the stuff in the mail in 5 days, so I said ok, then he said his boss was going to call me to make sure everything was good. So the boss called back a few min later and goes over everything with me, and then.. says that I have to pay for Time magazine every week in order to get this shopping spree and other magazines. He said it would be about $15 a month, and asked me how I would like to pay for it. Well I was not going going to give someone my credit card info over the phone, so I told the guy I did not have my credit card with me, so he said he would call the next day..

I am a regular customer of Subhiksha. My card No is GJ 1000 279293. On 21 June 2007 I placed an order for home delivery for certain items to Subhiksha BPC Road Branch Vadodara (Gujarat). The items were sent to me bu delivery boy. On checking the rates rates for one item were not clear. Delivery boy asked me to call Subhiksha. I called and inquired from girl on telephone. She told me certain rates which were much lower from the one I received in bill. My bill was overcharged. Upon pointing this out she simply said "we are not taking money home and whatever is written is company charge and if you want to take, take or not, we dont care. I requested her to put me in touch with the Cubhiksha in charge of store or give me another number where I can talk. She said that she is the top most authority. And I can’t complain to any body. She even refused to give her name. I found out from delivery boy the name of centre in charge and then I talked to one Mr. Pritesh. I formally lodged the complaint

It appears that Subhiksha has least interest in keeping proper staff and proper rates. I hope some necessary steps are taken to induct and train staff before recruiting and thereby not making the customers' shopping experience a mess.

Thanks for listening the complaint, I hope the Subhiksha management does something about it and does something concrete or take stern steps in favor of customer services.
