Plenty of places like that in Pennsylvania, since PA severely restricts sales of beer, wine and liquor. Gas stations and grocery stores don't sell them. Beer is sold in "beer distributors" (by the case only) or in bars, where you can buy a six-pack for takeout or individual cans for consumption on-site. Wine is sold in state stores, and in a few specialty wine stores. Hard liquor is sold in state stores.

Most states have at least one dry town. I am familiar with a few in New York state and in TN. What happened is that alchol brings in a good deal of money. I personally dont' like the idea of a dry town just makes the drunks drive father and be on the road longer.

Yes, I don't how how it is in other states but in Georgia, the distance from a school dictates if a gas station can sell alcohol.

Yes, but you would probably have to travel to the south to find them. We have many "dry" counties down here that do not sell alcohol at all. It does not stop the drinking problem, it just robs the count of tax money.

There will be a fine, and the liquor liscense of that company will be revoked. The clerk will also more than likely get fired and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor if he/she was in fact aware it was a minor, as well as whether or not the District or Prosecuting attorney wants to continue with those types of charges.

What happened? Alcohol carries a very high profit margin. As these businesses want to make $$, they thus carry this high profit item. Why wouldnt they?
