They built a new CVS at a place I drive past a lot and while they built it they put up the sign that says "CVS/Pharmacy" but they put a white sheet over the "Pharmacy" part. The stupid thing is that they have a sign in front of the build site that says "Coming soon: CSV/Pharmacy". Now it's done and they're setting up the inside and it's still covered. What's so bad about the word "pharmacy"? Are they worried somebody might break the letters so it says "C / harm "? Or maybe they don't want Drug addicts breaking in to steal oxycontin while they set up so they cover up the pharmacy part to throw them off? Well that wont work because the construction sign says it. Well I guess logic doesn't apply to CVS anyways because they already had a store next to a Shaws Market nearly 1000 feet away.

however do you in put your labor costs as direct or loaded costs. If direct labor was 10,000 and the % applied was 20% ..what goes in the 10,000 or the 12000 loaded cost....

What base do you use to allocate ODC if you had total ODCs of 11000...how would you determine how much to apply to each contract or unit....thanks

Wal-Mart must pay workers $78m

Workers were not always paid for the extra time they worked
The world's largest retailer, Wal-Mart, has been ordered to pay at least $78m (£42m) in compensation to workers who were forced to work during breaks.

A jury in a Pennsylvania court decided that Wal-Mart broke a state law by refusing to pay staff for the extra work they did.

After 10 years of working for the same manager. The last 2 have been very out of character for himself and more importantly to the business. I feel very dedicated and loyal... But somethings just not right... I've tried to talk to him. He just says things that would make one question his motives.

Hello! Yesterday I got a call from a lady claiming I've won a free trip and a chance to win a $75,000 car (Right away I knew it was bogus). When I asked her how she got my info she stated that is was trough a sweepstakes form. She then told me "is your email address still bla bla bla" and I told her "No, that was an email I had 5 years ago" (Another red light). To make a long story short, I went along with the game (I didn't give her any personal info). She said "you can pick up your prize tomorrow at 6pm and if you get there early you can win dvds, ipods, bla bla. I asked for a phone number and a website. The website is www.trendwest.com. It "looks" legit. I called the company, spoke to a "representative" and told him everything. He said the address the lady gave me is legit, but states the company gets contacts through "referrals". He gave me a 1800 number to call. No one answers. Who can I contact to see if this is a scam? I don't want people to get ripped

Apparently, this very large company (Fortune 100) I used to work for overpayed me due to clerical error. (I don't agree) And now they sent me a nice letter saying that they are sending me to collections because I have not paid the money back. This is the 1st I'm hearing about it. So, can a company do that? Can they LEGALLY ask for the money back? Thank you in advance for all of your replies and help.

I had a relationship with a third party employee on the job. I broke off the relationship and she threated bodily harm to me and my girlfriend.I went to my superintendant and told him the situation and asked if he could transfer me to another rig to avoid any complications. He asked me why I didn't tell my supervisor and I told him that my supervisor and I was at odds because I was paid a lower wage for a higher position after taking the place of someone who got injured. They said that they will call me back.I did not hear from them for almost two weeks, I had to call them and it was the day before I had to go back to work.I left messages for them to call me back. When they called me, they told me that they had to terminate me because I broke a policy.I call HR and found out that I did not break a policy, but they would not go into detail to why they terminated me.I have sent a letter to them requesting a copy of my employment records and I have received nothing.
