I want to know what trademark/s mean? Does this mean that any words or phrases that are trademarked can not be used for ANY purpose, whether on the net or otherwise? Some are very common phrases.

Here is the wording on a corporate website: The trademarks, logos and service marks ("Marks") displayed on the Site are the property of ...(name deleted)... and other parties. Users are prohibited from using any Marks for any purpose including, but not limited to use as metatags on other pages or sites on the World Wide Web without the written permission of ...(name deleted)... or such third party which may own the Marks. All information and content including any software programs available on or through the Site ("Content") is protected by copyright. Users are prohibited from modifying, copying, distributing, transmitting, displaying, publishing, selling, licensing, creating derivative works or using any Content available on or through the Site for commercial or public purpose

I have a business in the motorcycle industry, and I found a painting,drawing,picture,etc., that I want to use part of for my company logo.I was told that as long as I changed 1 or more things about the pic, (like deleting certain parts and adding something of my own) that it would not be infringing on the copyright. of the picture. Does anyone know of brokers who arrange radio interviews for people seeking publicity. Specifically, I'm NOT talking about a PR agent. I know that in the past I've seen where you can pay to be interviewed on a radio show (usually in the dead of night) and then use that interview on your web site and be able to say "as interviewed on KLM Radio Station" or some such thing. I've spent a day and a half looking for the site that I once saw advertising this and I can't find it. I'm doing some marketing for a client and would appreciate if anyone knows this information.

P.S. a California radio station, or at least a radio station with call letters starting with K would be best.
