Wow, I've heard this one alot.. and I've never seen a good answer for it. Sometimes they have freelance writing jobs over the internet. I would check that out first.

have you tried looking on any of the job seeking websites?
there are plenty recruitment sites available.
you might like to try just applying to a company directly and see if they have a job going.
