I have been with the Comcast cable for several years now and started to feel that I am paying too much even for the lowest digital package (47.25 + tax). I have tried to call the customer service several times asking for a discount or the new customer only deal, but those calls didn't work well. My apartment is facing North, so that means the satellite option is out. I have read a couple of articles suggesting to "threaten" to move to a competitor, but for my case/area, I really don't have any other option. If I call, I am afraid that they would call my bluff. Does anyone have any real experience and was able to reduce the bill?

I had a tab at the bar and they put 4 drinks I didn't order on there. They agreed to take one off. But when she gave me my cc slip back to sign, I was so frustrated, I left without signing and leaving it. I know my card was already charged the bill plus 20% to make room for tip, but since I didn't leave the slip I am worried they will leave it this way with the automatic 20% addtl charged. Is this allowed?

What happens if there isn't enough money left to pay off credit card debt from one's estate once they have passed away. Would a family member, i.e., an adult child be responsible.
