I got into a wreck about two years ago. It was late at night and a had a couple (2) of beers but was not drunk. I refused the breathalyzer so I was arrested on DUI. By the time they tested me again later, I blew clear, so I only got a ticket for reckless operation. Now I'm coming up on a new job and wanted to know about background checks. Does the arrest for DUI show up, just the ticket, or both. Worried that some dickfuck cop ruined my future by trying to make me walk a straight line instead of bringing me to the hospital. Please only answer if you know exactly what businesses look into and if they are only afraid of felons.

As I sit here in my granddaddy's recliner chair, eating squirell chili with my bare left hand, watching WWF on the TV, and listening to the kids play outside in the trailer park, I can't help but wonder...

What could be better than this? I am 24 years old, I make $273.00 a month (including welfare and social security) and I jst can not imagine what I would do if I was a millionaire. Hexk, I don't even know what I'd do with an extra $100.00 a month ('cept maybe buy a new squirell gun).

So to all you gaajillionaires out there, why do you need so damn much money? What do you do with it all? Just wonderin'.

I have been here for 10 months and I have been offered another job in another law firm that is expanding. That law firm will have areas for me to be promoted but may be less money. This job is great and the people are nice (we do have office politics though) but I do not believe that will be moving anywhere other than receptionist, even with my schooling. Should I really change jobs, even if it is less money with benefits? I'm not sure of the exact amounts but I would have a chance to move up the chain instead of staying idle.

And if I leace here to go anywhere in Texas he will find us and try to take my children away. I have plans to move back to Indiana when I have enough money. I have full custody of my children there, and he keeps threatning to kill me if I leave. My family is friends with all the cops in there area so I know that I will have protection when I take my children back up there for good and do it when he least expects it. As soon as he takes this over the road job he will be gone 5 days a week. That is when I am giong to be able with funds to get out of here.

My partner and I have been looking at buying a house but we can't get a large enough mortgage. It seems the only way to get a higher one is to get a higher credit score. I have never been in debt, he has a CCJ from years ago for about £800 which has been paid fully for over a year and our income is low. I am thinking of getting the card only in my name. Basically, the card would be used for ID purposes and small purchases just to get a credit score so I would want one with no annual fees or anything like that.

I've just looked at a few cards and I am confused! I have seen a couple which look good but I am still not sure.

The company I work for is considering giving me a loan so I can buy into the company and become an owner and they say that the minimum interest rate they must charge me is the prime rate. I've never heard of this and am counter offering with a rate of 4%. Just wanted to know if there were any tax laws that says they have to charge me prime rate. I couldn't find any answer on the net.

I'm 24. I have my credit approved to buy a house. I feel so lucky the second real state agent I went to was very nice, explained everything, and offfered me a deal that was more than what I expected for the loan I'm getting. I still want to shop around, but the other agents I've seen are not helpful, they only want to convince me that I can only get the houses they want to show me which are not better than the plan I was already offered with this second agent. They offer me very high leases and high montly payments, and only want to show me houses that I know are not worth what they want to sell them for. I keep asking them to show me a better deal, but they insist they showed me their best deals. I want to know how get them to show me better deals before I decide to go with the second agent. He offered me something great, but I want to be 100% I won't get something better with another agency.
