They exist but are hard to find. I would reccomend looking through want ads every day, including craiglist.org, monster.com, yahoo hotjobs, and other such web sites, as well as the local newspaper. I do NOT reccomend any of the "send us $300 and we'll send you a starter kit" type of jobs, the ones that are usually advertised in bold and caps and decorated with lots of dollar signs. 99% of these are scams, and will take your money and run. Also, do not bother with any of the online survey "jobs." These are also scams and usually require you to pay money before they reward you.

You will need to be patient and persevere, but the jobs are out there if you keep looking and don't give up. Of course, a lot of people are looking for jobs like this, so you usually have to apply for them right away.

Best of luck!

I can really relate to your situation (not too long ago I was going to claim bankruptcy) and if you have any question about what I going to share with you, or the link that I share with you, please email me (just click on my "yahoo name)..Before I suggest how I make good money from home . It is important for me to say, that in no way do I profit from posting this link that I used to make money from home ..I just used some of the suggestions from this link to make money at home..
(1) Sell items on the Internet. I started out by selling extra items that I had at home, now I go to yard sales, check out discount bins at stores, etc and resell them for a profit on the net.
(2) A popular way to make money is to have your own blog and or website, design it properly and your website or blog will pay for itself sooner or later. This is a great form of "passive stream of income" because the internet is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week...
(3) So far this is the easiest way (for me) to make extra money, I make pocket change by "reading emails. I just click on a email link and wait for a timer to expire, close the link and move onto the next email. (what can be more simplier) and I spend about a 1/2 hour a night doing this
I will post a link below that helped me out a lot with a lot of tips and tricks Hopefully, you will find my answer will help you out of your predicament!!!

find furniture and other things people are throwing out and sell them on ebay or at flea markets. If you sell on ebay dont be afraid to make your auctions for local pickup only. Its easy and free. I got two leather couches in the last 2 weeks that people were throwing away. You can also sell in classified ads. Just drive around a middle class suburban neighborhood on garbage night, and make easy money. Just a few rules:
1) make sure its legal in your state
2)dont go after 10pm, people will think you are up to something illegal
3)dont open up trash cans, people will think your trying to commit identity fraud.
4)just pick big valuable things that are not in garbage cans (furniture, pictures, bikes, little tykes toys, you get the idea)

I will just sell furniture and stuff occassionally, but I know people who make it their sole source of income. They make really good money finding thrown out lawn mowers and fixing them (apparently its easy, I have never tried). I really recommend flea markets as the way to go.

I have been searching for the same thing and it seems that they all require money. I have been told that if you have to pay to start a home base business then it is probably a scam.

There a lots of them, however, you want to be sure and do your research before getting involved.

With your skills you should consider freelance work or jobs
