my period always last for about a month and a half and then dosent come on for about three months. it always heavy until it actually stops. the doctor gave me birth control pills like 3 years ago when i was in 8th grade to regulate it but i didnt take them. now im in 11th and my mom says she is going to take me back to the doc, but she said its no need for me to ask for the pill because when i had the chance to take it i didnt but i think she just dosent want me to have it for the reason it may be promoting sex. but now i think i really need it for my cycle. dont i have a right to get it if its going to help me because i hate feeling like this all month. i mean of course i didnt take them in the 8th grade it was weird its a lot of things i didnt do then that i do now so im more mature. can i still get the pills without her or is there another way to help it

I have several old scars that I really want to make less visible. Some are long and white, and one is short and reddish. All are a little raised up. Does anyone have experience using mederma on these types of scars? Also has anyone tried it on stretch marks? And do the generic brands work as well? Thanks a lot!

Alright, I have tried shaving my pubes off. Before had even got to shave it all, red bumps had appeared. The bumps become itchy and filled with pus. NOT sexy. They itched constantly and made my life a living hell. Yes, I tried many creams and lotions. My razor was sharp (I used a fresh blade) and I used a proper shave gel.

I have tried several waxing kits. They simply do not stick to my hair, leaving a sticky mess all over me without removing a single hair.

Are deplitory (?) creams like Nair effective? Do they cause irritation?

I am 17, so getting laser hair removal or electrolysis is not really an option right now. I just want to be able to wear a swimsuit or shorts without having gross hairs hanging out.

Will a salon be willing to wax a 17 year-old? Are salons willing to remove the hair around the labia and butt?

Can somebody help?

I got my ears pierced when I turned 17..late I know but I never really wanted to get them pierced. I'm 18 now and for some reason, my holes are not healing. I've tried so many things to help heal them but they seem to always puss. When I leave my earrings out for even a day, they close up and I'm sick of poking my earrings through because it really hurts.

I was just wondering if any of you had any tips. I only wear gold earrings yet the problem still persists. Thanks a bunch!

im 14 and want to get a few piercings but dont have any yet. i already know i want to get my left ear pierced and a piercing on my lip.i also want an eyebrow piercing but i have heard that they scar a lot and very easily. im not worried about the pain although i kno the lip is going to hurt. what do u think about these piercings? i dont want ur personal opinions on whether u like them or not i just want to kno for example how big a hole the lip piercing will leave and how bad the scaring is and such.
