I thought it was good for the skin, except for the temporary inflammation it causes.

Chocolate-lovers rejoice! No scientific studies have ever shown that foods can cause breakouts. So as long as high-fat foods like french fries, pizza and chocolate don't irritate your skin, you can eat them (in moderation, of course!). A well-balanced diet is always a good way to help maintain good skin.
MYTH: Eating chocolate and greasy foods can cause breakouts.
TRUTH: There's actually no evidence that sugary or fried snacks affect your skin. But there's plenty of evidence that says healthy skin (not to mention a healthy body) requires nutrition from a well-balanced diet.

well, greasy food can cause pimples. it is 100% study that supports that idea. however, for certain people even bread can cause such things. for me , i noticed hot and spicy food affects my skin. I have seen people eat spicy food like crazey there is skin is really nice. same with smoking some people can be affected with that. To tell you the truth, you are the only one who can find out your self. try greasy food. try choclet . try spicy food . you will know which one will affect you. in general, a lot pf people get some kind of skin inflammation after doing so. like i said , I know that spices are not good for me. i eat them on occasions. hope that helps.
