Models on the catwalk, i think, are too skinny. YOung girls aspire to be like them... would you want your daughter/wife/girlfriend/sister dying of an eating related problem because they think that they SHOULD b that skinny? Its unrealistic!

I have been with my boyfriend for over 1 year and I love him. I just can't get over his hairstyle lately. He is latino and has been growing his hair out long then just slicks it back. It is ugly. I get embarassed introducing him to anyone. I shouldn't feel this way, but it used to be short on the side and nicely gel-ed on the top. I know people are going to say "are you in love with him, or his hair" but this is as drastic as Britney Spears...well...he knows I don't like it, but I guess there is nothing I can do. Can anyone sympathize?

Often times i get conscious iwth my appearance so guyz I need some information or tips to improve more my beauty/ looks.
Features:
I'm a petite girl aged 18, Long curly slashed black hair, thin lips and not so red, light brown complexion, Chinese eyes( single eye lid) Long nose, I have also a spots of pimples, oblong face, Skinny.... I dont know hat to do with my face and how to be in fashion.......

my question is...when i take a close up picture of myself it turns out ugly as in ugly facial feature, but in real life i get compliments on my facial feature i am absolutely sure that these comments are not to make me feel good , they are random and from different people
so my question is : can you look ugly on camera and handsome/pretty in real life?
PS: do not say what is ugly what is pretty or beauty is in eye of beholder...

Well, since Asian noses are considered "ethnic" rhinoplasty, the procedure would be different from a white person's. If you've had one, could you tell me what it was like? I was thinking of seriously slimming down my nose (I think it's too wide) and maybe making the bridge higher.
