First of all you can layer. If its cold you can always wear a shawl , shrug, jacket etc. and if it gets hot you can just take it off (the shrug not the dress:P). You can also wear the dress in any season. Also it can be kind of constricting to wear a long sleeve dress especially when you're dancing. Then again it could be because they like the style or the cut of the dress. Whatever the reason for each girl. It doesn't really matter since I'm assuming you're not going to be buy/wearing a dress anytime soon.

(SIGH) what a typical boy question! :) there are a few (some girls have other reasons)
A) If it is hot, it prevents us from sweating (gross i know)
B) Some of us love our shoulders and see them as sexy so we show them off (i dont hear you complaining)
C) Most sleevless dresses look really hot (very important)
D) It doesnt matter if you wear a necklace or not (they both look good)

no offence 2 ppl who like 1's wif sleeves..i just prefer sleeveless..
