I heard that the big secret was that the founder was a man. I could understand him wanting to keep it secret. It is said that he was embarassed shopping for his wife in the public stores so he created a descrete place for men to shop. NOw the company is owned by limited brand.

Queen Victoria was known as the Virgin Queen, but the secret was that she had many partners and hired men to "please her". This is where they got the name i have heard!
