Tea bags on the eye are a fantastic way to get rid of puffiness. The caffeine in tea brings down the puffiness and redness you may experience under the eyes. Use warm, wet teabags and keep them on your closed eyes for five minutes.

According to the research, tea contains tannin which has anti-inflammatory effects. It will contract body tissues and reduce eye-bags. Tannin is also known an astringent.
If you would like to try, please use the real (caffeinated) tea bags because only those contain tannin. Teas like Assam and Chamomile work better for eye-bags.

Infuse two tea bags in boiling water for 10 minutes. Drink the tea (don’t waste) and remove the tea bags and let the tea bags become cool. Apply a compress to your puffy areas.

Yes, they work. Save used teabags. Refrigerate immediately after using and use straight out of the refrigerator.

Yes, they do but they need to be cold and damp before you place them on your eyes. It's best to do this while lying down and relaxing.
