Do I have any reason to be uncomfortable with this? How do they keep things covered? Also should I take off my bra?

I had my first professional massage done by a man and it wasn't uncomfortable at all...if you feel weird in any way don't hesitate to stop...you should take your bra off for a better massage...he won't see your goods lol...

If he's a professional at what he does then there is no reason to feel uncomfortable. Taking your bra off is up to you. Usually they use a towel, and usually when u take of your bra you are face down with your chest against the table and it is just nicer to take it off so the straps don't get in the way of the full back massage. You don't HAVE to take the bra off if you are uncomfortable with it. It just helps when doing the full back thing.

Dont worry about having a man doing your massage. He is a professional. They arent there to check you out or make comments. They are there to do their job. Normally, they ask you to take off your clothes. You can leave your underwear on. You will have to take off your bra... you wrap yourself in a towel and lay down on the table. The person I went too would place a towel over my butt when she would massage my whole body. But if you have underwear on that should matter. When you lay face up, you will more than likely have a towel on... You arent sitting there completely exposed. Maybe you should also explain that it is your first time, and they will go over things with you... They will ask you about your comfort level.

For the most part, No. All massage therapists and Masseuse's are trained and it's simply a job they do. Of course, there is always bad apples that spoil the bunch.

Usually even in a full body massage, they don't massage breasts or genitals, they will offer a paper type garment to place over your chest and groin area.

If you still feel uncomfortable, tell them. Ask for a woman, if they cannot offer a woman that day, reschedule.

Never do anything you're not 100% comfortable with.

Most male masseurs are professionals. Although this is true, you may still want to check the credentials of the person before you allow him to massage you. My advise would be to relax and enjoy the massage. Keep your panties and bra on.

Howver, the best bet would be getting a female to massage you.

Answers are given by above already..
If you don't feel comfortable, ask a lady to give you the massage, or have someone with you,
I am going to take course on massage and what they say these people are professionals because they practice with hundreds of people, but goes with someone you can trust with your body.
I am a Christian and I would prefer a lady to do it for me. sometimes there is always a choice..even if I attend the course and there would be man to practice and I don't feel comfortable..I don't think the Instructor would force me to do it. There is always a reason to be uncomfortable..but the choice is yours..

I think you should request a female. Since you have posted this question obviously your instincts are telling you to worry. I wouldn't go for it, but then again, these days bisexualism and homosexualism are a common and growing practice. Whatever you do, keep an eye out. I know people say, that "it's just their job" but think, they thought about what they wanted to do for a job, and literally if a male has that job he obviously thought about touching women, as well as men.
