Makeup - April 2007

I have very dry/combination skin. I need to use a pretty potent facial moisturizer due to the flaking that can occur on my face. Whenever I've tried to wear any type of foundation over the moisturizer my face was left looking like I stuck it in a bowl of coconut flakes or the makeup will recede into smears across my face. I'll start to put the foundation on and immediately my skin reacts, turns dry, will literally start to peel up or it will look like I have grease smears on my face. I've tried expensive brands and nothing works. What can I do??

i always put spf 30 on my face then i put liquid foundation and then powder with spf 15 then liner and mascara and eyeshadow.

is it ok to wear makeup while in the tanning bed? or will that effect my tan?? like i wont tan evenly or ill get breakouts?

I used to be able too pluck my eyebrows really easily but for some reason now its become harder for me. I get stubbly parts that i cant get too because if i try & pluck them i pinch the skin or cut it by accident and it gets really sore!. Does anyone have a video url or something they could suggest apart from waxing because i cant afford a wax every week. please help me x

two questions... first, i put eyeliner on my bottom inner lids sometimes but it always smears because the lids are moist. is there a type of eyeliner that wont smear when i put it on the inner lids? also, my eyelashes are already long enough, id just like more volume. what type is mascara will make my lashes thicker and not just longer?

others' opinions. For both sexes...you just CANT win their approvals. I really would love to wear a full face of makeup- not overly done, just enough to make me look very pretty- but I don't wanna seem artificial or I don't want some one to describe me as a "painted mannequin" or something. I used to love experimenting and I would like to do that too (you know, the smokey eyes...bright but not tacky eyeshadows/ lip glosses). I just really don't know if I should or shouldn't wear makeup cause I look and feel ugly with nothing on my face...help?

But they grow very fast they are very visible as I have light skin and dark hair. I tried threading but it did not even last for a week . I started doing bleach on my face and neck they are so much visible in sun and don't last even for a week. finally I tried waxing it lasted more than a week but for few days I had rash and leave my skin dry and not glowing
I even tried using hair removing lotions it left my skin cut every where even in two minutes.
I would really appreciate if you could give me some advice or homemade remedy as I don't have enough money to get any expensive treatment .
more over I started noticing lots of hair on my belly and my lower back don't know what to do I live in ca want to go swimming but hair at back and belly oh!

i have black hair, fair skin and brown eyes and i'm finding trouble settling with the right lip colour.

most colours make me look drained and obvious. dark shades make my lips look thin and don't complement my skin tone, and pale ones don't seem to have a nice impact.
any ideas?

I am off to a fancy dress party in 2 weeks, and fancy going as a kind of vampire/goth I have the dress, wig and make up ordered, but need to know how to apply the make up for maximum effect. Does anyone know of any websites that show you how to apply make up in step by step instrctions?
