Highlighter refers to any product use to highlight or make a area stand out. The most common type of highlight is done with a concealer slightly lighter than your normal foundation or skin tone. It can be used on the brow bone to make eyes stand out, applied to the nose to alter the shape and many other ways. Learning to use highlight and shadow will drastically change how you look at makeup. It brings a better understanding of what makeup is trying to achieve and allows you to learn how to do practically any look.
