Nail salons do make money but I wouldn't say that they would make more than a dentist or an md. The owners of the salon make more than the employees, but it is not inexpensive to run a business not matter what kind of business it is. The employees at times don;t understand the cost of overhead and all the money that the employer has to pay to IRS. Sorry for the rambling but to answer your question, I don;t think that they make more $$.

i would be curious where you came by that information. judging from the multitude of dentists within a 5 mile radius of my house, and how completely packed their schedules always are, i'm guessing it's a pretty lucrative profession. i highly doubt that a manicurist makes the same amount of money. the owner of the salon maybe. but the staff? no way. unless they get MUCHO good tips.

Well I would think that dentists or a doctor would make more moeny.
They have waaaayyyy more clients, and they do surgeries, which are very costly. They earn money from that.
