make sure u keep your skin hydrated, so moisturize a lot!!! moisturized skin helps u tan better, quicker & keeps your tan looking nice after u get it!!! i recommend using a lotion formulated for indoor tanning bed use, even if you`re going to be tanning outside...that`s what i use, & they really work much better than the store-bought lotions normally used for outdoor tanning!!! good luck!!!

I completely agree with the first answer. that girl knows what she's talking about....I use the tingle lotion made for indoor use, but I use it when I'm on the lake as well. Some people can't handle the tingle lotion, but it gets me dark with the quickness. And yes...most definitely keep your skin moisturized. I use an after tanning lotion with hemp in it, not only is it good for your skin, it is very moisturizing, halps to maintain the glow of your tan, and smells really good too;)

cocoa butter will help. It it works as an after tanning moisturizer at the same time. It also makes you smell like a big yummy cookie! I really like the palmers brand.

Just use one of those spray on tans or those liquid rubs.

Im naturally tan so its all good :D.

i use to tan myself by scrubing my face w/ half a orange. it gives a tan bright look if ya no what i mean?

you know what if you use baby sunscreen you will get very dark.
my friend uses it and she is reallly dark
