Hi you might need a new set of tweezers as they do get blunt after a while which obviously will make it harder for you to grab the little eyebrow hairs with them, So I would get a new pair, Asdas makes are good really sharpe points on them, there by where the make up is,not too expensive either. I have to change my tweezer twice a year.
Becareful that your not over plucking them too much, every few weeks should be suitable to pluck your eyebrows. This maybe why is so hard to get hold of the little ones. Make sure you leave it until you can grab it with the tweezers. Or get a new pair and then you will find you can grab them more easily.

If you wax regularly, after about 6 months to a year you will only need to go every month for a clean up. This is the best way to have well shaped brows and the least painful in the long run. Find someone you like and stick to it. Eventually you will not need much waxing as the hair will not grow back as often or as strong. Also, since you do pluck the occasional stray even when you wax, It sounds like you need a new pair of good tweezers. Go to a beauty supply, don't skimp and you should get much better and less painful results. Good luck to you...

the best bthing to do is to invest in a good pair of slanted tweezers (best ones are Tweezerman) you don't EVER pluck above the eyebrow because it is obviously a beauty disaster! all you really need to do is use an eyebrow brush and brush them up and outwards.Any stragglers that fall under the arch shud be quickly eased out(make the tweezers grip the root of the hair) if u ever over-pluck,use an eyebrow brush the same shade of eyebrow except darker works more better and brush over. The best way to keep the neatness is to either spray hairspray on a comb and comb through,or use a clear mascara and they will stay put all day. good luk and hope this helps! xxx

You wouldnt have to wax every week, every couple of weeks AT THE MOST. And its like 10 bucks, anywhere, any salon. For touchups I use baby ora gel where Im about to pluck, wait a few mins and pluck with a 2 ended tweezer (check out Sephora.com).

I think it might be an age thing - I find plucking eyebrows harder now than I used to. It helps if you do it after your period cause it hurts less! Also use Tweezerman tweezers - they're honestly the best ones - they get out more hairs than I can normally get - and I'm hairy!

Hi! I got my tweezers in the body shop and there the best one's i've ever used, you shouldn't need to have them waxed every week,i grow mine for at least 6 weeks to make sure they've all come though, but when pluckin just pull the skin a little and it'll not hurt and that way you don't catch the skin.once you get into a rouitine of pluckin them it shouldn't hurt.

It sounds like your tweezers have gone dull. Get a sharp pair of slanted tweezers, such as Tweezerman http://www.tweezerman.com/index.cfm?page=productdetail&prod=210&cc=1 You can buy them a lot of places, such as Sephora, a drugstore, or a beauty supply store (my mom found me a pair at Linens & Things). The sharp tweezers are more precise, making it easier for you to go in and grab the hair without irritating the skin. Buy new tweezers or get them sharpened at a beauty supply store. Spend a lot of money on the tweezers if you have to. It's worth it.
I hope I helped!

You take the plucker and pull out the excess hairs. it might hurt but its the best way if you cant afford a wax.
