Makeup - November 2006

my make up last only a few hours before the two colors blend togther. i dont use cheep make up why wont the colors stay where i put them?

Today after school I bought a red top that is randomly spotted with white splashes, so it looks mostly but not all white. It has a big red ribbon under the bust and a low cut neckline. I am wearing it tomorrow for my school's Grade Nine Celebration Evening (I'm Australian so our school year's almost over), but I am not sure what sort of makeup would suit. I have light brown (mousy) hair with blonde streaks, green/brown eyes (they change), and I tan easily, if that is any help. I'm not tan at the moment, but not "white". Please tell me what colour eye makeup to use. Thanks

i've heard nude lips make your lips look big.. well maybe not full but it makes your lips look alittle bit bigger than not wearing anything at all. i just wanted to know if its true? and if it is then i always thought that cant be true since when you have nude lips, your lip sort of blends in your skin color.. what do you think?

I'm a bit lazy to take off the eyeliner and eyeshadow I put on in the morning sometimes before I go to bed, so can I leave it on overnight without any harmful side effects? I've done it before though. Was just wondering if it'd do anything like absorb into my eyelid and poison my eye or whatever. Hahaha. Thanks.

Any information gratefully received! So far I've tried liquid, gel, and ordinary pencil eyeliner. I have yet to try kohl. Is there a big difference?

Also, if you could give me pointers on irritability of kohl. Is it gentle? I have really sensitive eyes, plus I wear contacts, so I always need stuff that is opthamologist tested and hypo-allergenic, etc.

P.S.
Any brands you recommend! I'm especially curious about kohl, but if you have a favorite non-kohl eyeliner brand, tell me about it! (I'm planning on buying some new make-up soon).
