Two months ago, I would have recommended Cover Girl, Natural Blends. It's matte, and provides and beautiful, soft cover. Just make sure the color matches your skin and you apply concealer with a make-up wedge, and that you remove it when you come home: with a facial cleanser and then moisturize afterwards.

Wear a lighter coverage and let them show--- your make-up routine will be easier, your face won't look so stiff, and you will work what you have. Besides, a lot of people think freckles look cute. I would suggest mineral makeup as it can also be healing for acne skin. A little goes a long way and you can build the coverage up. Heavy makeup can be pore clogging too so mineral makeup is a better option.

If you're trying to cover up stuff, I would suggest that you go to a dermatologist and find a skin-care regimen that will eliminate your need to hide behind makeup (also, take a look at your diet). Until then, Dermablend is a good one, or MAC Studio Fix.
