In school lots of people are wearing red eyeliner, i think it looks terrible, like you have blood shot eyes!!! what do you think???

I've never liked red or hot pink liner.

Ok why is it that everyone on this make-up group hates the goth style of make up.
I know some goths have shocking make-up but others such as myself like to look elegant.
I don't like the red eyeliner look on the bottom because yes it looks like you are crying blood or something. I f you apply it on top and have a darker colour on the bottom (like black) then it'll look ok.
I personally stick with black eyeliner and use different colour eye shadows.

Red is retro color 1st made popular with punks, later with the 80's new wave craze..
it's very hard to get red eyeshadow in the U.S. for a very good reason.. the pigment used in red is often an irritant to the eyes..
If you really must use reds, use it sparingly ..
One of the best quality I have seen is from Bloody Mary, sold at Hot Topics..

red eyeliner?? I am glad I am done with school! I can't even imagine what they guys think of that. THere is NO way that would ever look good on anyone!

love love love different kind of makeup. but u cannot wear red eyeliner only under your eye, put another shades it will look adorable

I think that it is ok. I have been wereing mine like that for awhile, I mean but once in awhile, not everyday. I put the red on my top and black on the bottom.

cool! i wouldnt mind trying them out myself cuz it will be fresh and quite interesting to have different colors instead of the same old ones like black or brown. but i think it will also have to depend on the situation, like what occasion, and skin tone, shape of face and eyes as well.

thats the suicidal goth thing. i hate that. i prefer the black eyeliner cuz thats a lot sexier.

i think if you have dark hair and dark eyes it could look nice, i always try with different colours, i have pink ones, blue ones and lilac ones, i think it depends what your wearing. its an individual thing but if everyone started wearing it i certainly wouldn't.
