Like a previous poster noted, oil is your #1 problem. I myself no longer use foundation per se, just a liquid concealor applied with a facial sponge. I have found this helps remarkably. Also, you might want to get yourself some oil-blotting sheets. Clean and Clear makes them and you can pick them up at any Wal-Mart or drugstore. The best long-lasting eyeliner is Maybelline Expert Eyes. Just burn the tip with a lighter to warm it; it glides on and stays on. I would also suggest water-proof mascara. For the eyeshadow, Almay makes a liquid that I used to use under powder (if you can't find that, than concealor under powder works just as well). For the lips, Covergirl's long-lasting is your best bet.

Make sure you are using a good primer to start with. Also, make sure the foundation you are using is suited to your skin type.
These days you can also get some eye liners/ lip liners which are smudge proof. Instead of eyeshadow, try MAC pigments. They have excellent staying power and there are heaps of colours to choose from.

I use MAC. It stays the best.
Also, the brush you use may have something to do with it. The sponge-tip applicators that normally come with eyeshadow can absorb too much of the shadow, and also some of your facial oil, which will affect your makeup. A good set of brushes is the best, and make sure you keep your brushes clean by washing them with mild soap (I use face wash)

I would assume your talking about eye makeup since you said 2 colors. Try using some foundation on your eyelids before putting on your eyeshadow. That may give it some more holding power.

Do you apply a moisturizer before you apply makeup? That helps keep the makeup on for a longer period of time. Also, make sure you set your makeup with a powder.

Start with clean skin.
If your skin tends to be a little oily... use a oil mattefier, Mary Kay has a wonderful one. That will help tremendously.

Put on some primer before you apply your makeup. It will help make your makeup stay put all day.

FYI, ferrets are not rodents, they are carnivores and they do not eat table scraps and french fries. They cannot digest them properly. Sorry to put that here, but you do not accept IM's ............just thought I'd let you know.
