I found that the best thing to do is just leave it alone because it gets worse. But of course, I tried out several things before I came to that conclusion. And from my experience, I think that you should stay away from things like lemon juice, orange fruit, etc. They are too acidic for the skin, and will stink--and make your pores bigger. I found that yogurt with sugar mixture works.

Try that and always use a cream after that.

I love the Oil Of Olay products. Regenerist is awesome. It's sort of expensive but I think it's worth the extra money. I do the microderm abrasion treatments at home about once a week. Leaves my skin incredibly soft and looking great.

u need 2 determine what is ur skin type, next u mus have already stopped usin mac products so use sumthin which is made 4 ur skin type. u cud try one of dese:
Face mask for dry skin

1. Take 1 tbsp olive oil and mix with 2 tbsp of fresh cream, leave it on the face for 10 minutes and then wash your face with warm water.

2. Mix 1 tbsp of honey with 15 drops of orange juice and 1 tbsp of fuller’s earth and add 1 tbsp of rose water. Mix well and apply on the face, wash off after 10 miuntes.

Face mask for oily skin

1. Mix a tbsp of honey with 1 egg white and apply thickly on the face and neck. Leave for 10 minutes and wash off.

2. Mix 2 tbsp of papaya pulp with 10 drops of lemon juice and leave it for 20 minutes and then rinse well.

3. Take fresh juice of any of the fruits (orange, sweet lime, watermelon or papaya) and apply on the face as a mask. This is very relaxing, it cleanses the skin, closes pores and stimulates blood circulation.

Carrot Facial Mask

Ingredients Needed:
2-3 large carrots
4 1/2 tablespoons honey

Directions:
Cook carrots, then mash. Mix with honey. Apply gently to the skin, wait 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

Glowing Facial Mask

All you need is:
1 tbsp fuller's earth
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp mashed papaya

Mix and put on face for 20 minutes then rinse off.

also exfiloliate once a week
Wet face (or anywhere on the body), apply a couple of tablespoons of sea salt, then GENTLY massage with a wet washcloth or fingers.
Focus on the T-zone and cheeks, but avoid the eye area.

After one or two minutes, rinse with cold water to tighten the pores.

I think homemade facials are probably better than store bought ones. You could try oatmeal as a facial, was in cool tea, apply cukes to your eyes, etc.

It may have to do with aging more than the make up. Old people didn't start out ugly you know.

Olive oil is good for the skin. I like Pond's Cold Cream before bed. I wake up with soft, smooth, glowing skin.

Look for Avon facials....
And MAC isn't anything to be using on your face...
MAC is only good for lip gloss.
