i've heard nude lips make your lips look big.. well maybe not full but it makes your lips look alittle bit bigger than not wearing anything at all. i just wanted to know if its true? and if it is then i always thought that cant be true since when you have nude lips, your lip sort of blends in your skin color.. what do you think?

Nude can make them look bigger, but it depends if your lips are pale and whether they're moisturized. If your lips are dry, they will look smaller. Gloss them over with a moisturizing lip gloss, then look bigger.
For small lips, try using a lipstick that resembles the color that IS visible. Nude doesn't have to mean colorless!
For lips that are larger and just need more OOMPH, just try a see-through gloss.

It's the dark/light illusion. Dark lipstick minimizes, just like black pants. A shiny nude gloss will make your lips appear larger, because a) it's a lighter color and b) the gloss will reflect light. Try MAC Lipglass in C-Thru.

its true, light colors make your lips look bigger or the normal size bright colors like red makes them look smaller then they really are, you could also try getting a lip pencil and lining the outside of your lips a little bit then put the lipstick/gloss inside to make them look bigger

well if u r using a nude lip gloss ur lips will appear fuller. and its not just nude any gloss makes ur lips fuller. its the shine of the gloss that gives the impression of fuller lips.
lip sticks on the other hand won't make that much of a difference. so u r right nude lipstick won't make ur lips appear bigger. its just lip gloss that does the trick.

I use nude lipgloss...and since my lips are already full...it doesn't matter if I use the lip plumper stuff. But if you want fuller lips, I suggest using a lip plumper gloss.

i have normal lips but when i try nude lip balm from lancome, it really made my lips a bit bigger. if u want to try, u should try put some foundation on your lips then blend it wiv your lip stick or lip gloss.

this is very simple ladyy
when u apply lipstick u also apply lips linear so ur make ur lips in a particular shape and when ur nude lip they look very huge
Same as when u wear a basket ball Tshirt u look more skinny but when u where a shirt u look smart

i think it does...you can buy a nude lip gloss that makes your lips fuller (literally)...it stings like hell for 5- 10 minutes while its working...then it stops hurting...it last as long as you keep it on..you can buy it at any drug store

i think to color your lips is phoney and clown-like...chapstick or somthing similar shows of natural, real beauty w/moisture and slight(not skanky)shine.
