Hair - November 2007

My hair grows really, really, really slow. Its only grown at the most 2 inches since last april , maybe not even 2 inches. Am i doing something wrong? What should I be going?

What would be a good hairstyle that is extremely feminine on a guy? My hair is really short now (maybe 2") but with side swept bangs down to my cheek. The goal is to make it edgy, VERY feminine, with no way to mask it as a masucline style. We have been thinking of Posh's style, but it has a lot of growing to do for that. So what are some ideas as it grows??

I was flipping through a magazine today with my boyfriend, just randomly, and I saw an ad for Sexy Hair with this hairstyle in it. Something set off in my head that made me think my boyfriend, who has hair that long, would be so hot with such a bizarre style. I even said it outloud, and he didn't really say anything, he just smiled. He'd probably get it if I wanted him to. Am I crazy for thinking it'd be hot on my otherwise manly guy?

i have curly hair,i use sunsilk as my shampoo,i don't wash my hair everyday using shampoo as it causes lots of knots in my hair.now i'm getting more splits,i want to get rid of it...
so suggest me which conditioner can i use,or suggest me a conditioner that can be prepared at home,as i'm scared of the chemicals in purchased product.

I'm a guitarist, and ill admit it.. I have great hair.. I've commonly been told that I have "rockstar" hair.. Its blonde, all one length(to my shoulders), with SLIGHT sidebangs (they got grown out) I need something more edgy and unique.. I really dont want something in your face and weird. I'm really bubbly so nothing emo.. I also have the option of coloring, but im not sure if i want to do that . I am of the African American/Black descent, and so are both of my parents. I have really really light brown hair. In the summer, it even looks kind of blonde. It's been getting lighter each and every year... I think it got that way from swimming.Do you thinnk Chlorene makes your hair lighter?

Well my mom is pretty strict and doesn't really approve on highlighting my hair because she thinks it'll damage my hair but i only want few highlights or something new with my hair so can yu help me?
