Anyone know where I can get a hair straightener that I don't need an electrical outlet for? Maybe battery operated/chargeable?? Links pleaseee.

I'm naturally blonde at the moment - but wanted to dye my hair a deep brown colour soon. Would it be possible to dye a small streak/chunk of my hair red/pink/blue or something at the same time?

I just thought it would be easier than dying it brown, and THEN wanting a colour on top...

she has just had an operation and cannot get up to shower and wash herself as the nurses have to do it. so they cannot wash her hair for her and i heard you can buy a product that can reduce the look of greasyness without having to wash it!!!!!!but dont know where to start looking for it or what exactly im looking for!help

I think my hair has gotten thinner and grows way slower for about the last 5 years. What has happened?
I look back at pictures when I was in my 20's and early 30's and it looks really long and a bit thicker. I am now 42.
I cannot get it to grow past a certain length.
Anyone else with this problem?

the spray she used maid my hair look lovley and shiny and very sleek lookin there was no frizz in it at all
and now i have washed my hair my self its gone all flyaway and frizzy on the ends can anyone tell me whats the best hair product to use to take out the frizzi think the hairdresser said the one she used is from boots but there are so many i don;t now which one is the best to use

I heard that olive oil gets rid of frizzy hair... is that true? I have a terrible frizz problem and im not one of those girls that can spend like 2 hours on their hair, so i need something simple.

i also dont want it to smell bad afterwards, and how long do i put the oil in the microwave?

(PS. I dont have coarse hair, its very soft but theres just SOO MUCH OF IT! my hair is super thick, poofy and frizzy, but soft, i kno i have weird hair.)

my hair is long (way past my shoulders) kinda wavy and just won't do anything. i've tried curlers, tongs, rags everything. the curls just drop straight out in minutes. i dont want anything permenent its just for a change.

By time I get home from basketball practice, my hair is hard and dry even if I greased it the night before. Its breaking off because I don't grease it every night. I can't get braids because if I don't grease it regularly, I don't grease it but once the whole time I have braids. What can I do to keep my hair from looking like a troll's head the next day?

i have just grown my hair to shoulder length but it is now hanging like limp seaweed, i want to sass it up without having to spend ages and ages on it each moring before work. i have consulted many hair magazines but they all show glorius hair styled to within an inch of it's life and unfortunately i do not have a mobile stylist to hand. i want the 'just out of bed look' because i have literally just gotten up not because i'v faffed on all morning and made myslef late for work again! all ideas appreciated
