Lee Stafford does a spray-in product called Oily Roots which you spray on and then rub in through your hair. Will take the bad look off it though it won't feel any cleaner to her. But will look ok. You can get it from Boots. In a pink can.

Baby powder works. It will absorb the oil. Bumble and Bumble makes a hair powder that has color. (The white baby powder appears to lighten dark hair a little) I prefer regular old baby powder though. There is also such a thing as dry shampoo. I am not sure where to get it, but I know it exists. You put it on you scalp and brush it. Good luck!

At the drugstore, they sell "dry shampoo" for just such a situation. Also, at the home medical supply store, they sell these portable sinks that you can use to wash her hair while she's laying down. A lot of bed-ridden people have them. Good luck! :)

Go to walmart or a beauty saloon & there is a dry shampoo just for this type of problem. You also can sprinkle baby powder on it & brush it thru really good it doesn't just make it look clean, but it smells clean. Good luck.

I have heard that talcum powder works. You can go and get a dry shampoo from a chemist. I am sorry I don't live in England so cannot give you any brand names.

Most pharmacies will have it, either in with the shampoo, etc., or in the pharmacy. The best thing to do is to go to your local drug store or medical supply store, if you have one, go back to the pharmacy, and ask someone there if they have it. You could call ahead to make sure.
