Every time I take a shower I wonder this question. Are you
suppossed to rub conditioner through out your hair, or just at the ends? Please help. I want healthy hair.

I only put it everywhere but my roots. I try to especially get the midsection and ends of my hair, that's where my hair tends to get it's driest!

The idea of washing hair is to clean the scalp. You should first let running water wet your hair completely and most dirt will wash away with that water. Then put shampoo on your scalp and give it a good massage, there is no need for too much lather. Rinse thoroughly, then add conditioner to the scalp, then run fingers through the hair. Remember that natural oils can only reach hair up to ear level, so perhaps some conditioner at the ends as well, if you have long hair.

well directions on every bottle says u have to put to from roots to ends. Here are the steps:
1. Thoroughly shampoo hair (see section on how To Properly Shampoo).

2. After the last rinse, do not dry or towel blot. Gently, squeeze out the excess water with your hands. If the hair is too dry, the conditioner will not penetrate the follicles well.

3. Apply conditioner and gently massage into hair from scalp to ends. Keep in mind that every strand that does not have conditioner on it will not be conditioned.

I only put conditioner on my ends. Sometimes I rub the conditioner up the back of my neck/hairline and massage it underneath, but never at the roots. It weighs it down and makes it lifeless. I follow with a rinse of cold water to make it shiny!

You don't need a lot, if any at all, at your roots. Start at the ends, concentrate there, and work your way up. That way, most of the conditioner will be on the ends where hair is drier and it needs it the most. If your hair is on the oily side, skip the roots entirely.

I only put it on the ends....the part that would make up a pony tail. I do this because I have oily hair, so I do Not want the conditioner on my scalp.

I put it all over my hair but mostly on the ends -don't want to make the top of your hair too greasy. Then when I get out of the tub, I put my mousse on it and comb it through so it reaches every strand.

You should put conditioner on all your hair and allow it to sit for a few min. to reach the full, moisturizing effect. Them rinse thoroughly.

Have a happy shower!

just put conditioner to your hair from the roots up to the tip..but dont scratch your head too much because rubbing or scratching your head would lead to dandruff...

just massage your head lightly and then rub a little to your hair ..;)
