Hair - March 2007

Hey! I am thinking about growing a soul patch and was wondering whats the best way to shape it? Also how long does it normal take? I'll post a link to some pictures of me and you an be the judge of how it would look! Keep in mind that my hair now is dyed clack and spiky!

i have a brownish hair with a few blondish highlights but i reaaally want to grow out the highlights but it would be really noticable that their growing out and i want my hair to be long so like i dont want to cut half it off...what do i doooo

I have like an ash blond hair color and I want some highlights, not something too extreme though. I was thinking that I should get light light blond highlights almost like a platinum blond color.

2 days ago I bleached sections of my hair, which came out orange/bronzeish. Yesterday I used a highlighting kit to get those sections lighter, it worked on some but I'm still pretty orange. I tried to add stripes on my bangs but I had put the cap on my head and it smeared so I kinda look like a freaking leopard. HAHA. So my hair is blond, orange and black. I was going to put my hair back to black and just keep a couple blond sections, do you think my hair would come out ok? A few bits in the back have come out, but not like a huge ammount, just some strands when i was brushing my hair out. Also, my hair feels really dry, obviously, what shampoo/conditioner can I buy to make my hair feel soft like it was?

I live in a tropical climate and have very thin, straight hair. Whenever I try to curl it, it falls completely flat within 10 minutes. Any suggestions?

One time, I was watching the Brady Bunch and the older girl (forget her name...I didn't watch it much...it could have even been the movie) would comb her hair 100 times. I have very dry hair. Do you think brushing my hair this many times would drag the little bit of oil on the hair around my scalp to the ends of my hair? Is it bad to brush your hair this much? I have to wash my hair every day or I can't function. Thanks!

One of my closest friends got her hair cut really short, normally she has short hair but this time its REALLY short. This friday we're getting together and helping her how to style her hair to make it look more girly. The back is really short, like guy short and its a bit longer in the front..she sorta has side bangs. Please give me ideas for how she can style it!

im a guy with kinda long (bottom of nose and ears hair) and i love it except one problem. its like the hair farther away from my hairline is shorter than the hair right on the edge and the hair right on the edge is so thin and flimsy its like curly and it makes the rest of my straight hair look like ****. it kinda looks like baby hair under my hair and when it gets wet, hot, cold, or staticy, it looks really curly. ive tried geling it out and straightening but it doesnt work. i dont have a straightener but i used my friends. its on both sides and it does it when it gets too long in the back too. its only on the very edges. help???

I want to change my look, i have dark brown hair, and i want to put some highlights in, i so think that light brown hair will look better as a base before i throw the highlights in, but my freind is telling me to do medium brown as the base, what do u think is better, since i dont like the typical looking hair that i see every day, dark color/extra light color in one :S , plz let me know, i have a medium skin tone..10x!

I hav naturally dark brown hair and I would never dye it. However, lately I see more and more girls with obvious bleached white blond hair and dark roots. I think that people should embrace their own naatural hair colors! Natural blond hair is beautiful don't get me wrong- and I know most guys prefer blonds, but do they really think its hotter for a girl to hav fake blond hair than natural brunette hair? The guy that likes me told me he doesnt even like blonds! Opinions please- guy and girl!

Okay my natural hair is wavy/curly and COMPLETELY frizzy. I used to be a beach blonde, but now my hair is growing brown. I want to chemically straighten it AND dye my hair blonde. My grandma did it when she was young (except with perms) and her hair was okay, just a little damaged. Is it okay to do or will my hair melt?!?!?!?! Help me!

anyways...I can't stand the way my hair is! I have thick, Course POOFY hair! and it is a bit wavy...anyway I just got a flat iron and tried it...it straghtened my hair but it was really POOFY! and I even but some of that "Sunsilk anti poof" stuff in it but, of course it didn't work! any tips/Help for me! I have naturally curly/wavy hair. It gets really frizzy a lot of the time. I have tried everything from Frizz Ease to mousses to gels and nothing seems to work. Any other suggestions? I would like it if it didn't break the the bank either.

I've worn short jeans skirt to school before but always felt very uncomfortable because I only shaved up to my knees and I have black hair so you could probably see it above my knees... so, to where do you shave?
