You should get a trim atleast once a month!! Use some deep conditioning treatment on your hair...and always use protective hair serum like proclaim or thermasilk before straightening your hair, besides protecting your hair it will give it a nice and healthy shine. Trust me on this one, my mom is a hairtylist, and she makes me do all this. Plus take a break from time to time...

I straigten my hair often as well. I find that simply getting my hair cut every couple of months helps. FYI: My hair takes forever to grow so for me after about 2 1/2 to 3 months I'm ready for a trim. Use a shampoo & conditioner that is specifically for damaged & dry hair. I use Dove & Garnier Frutisse products.

Get a fresh trim, see a stylist for a deep conditioning treatment, use professional styling products. Before straightening, use a heat protection cream/spray.

Did you chemically straighten your hair or with a styling tool?
