i have very very curly hair and i am going to get it cut and thinned this weekend for school and i want to have it layered so it will look really cute when its straightened but will this make my hair look strange when its curly and what about getting choopy ends will that be a problem either?

I've always colored my hair and had tried and true one I always used,but for some reason it didn't color it right when I used it last, so I used something differant,didn't like that,so used something else.Anyway now it looks like that girls hair from 5th element or a clown.What can I do without totally ruining it?

Ignore my avatar for the moment, but when I was in third grade, I made fun of this kid who had just gotten a buzzcut. He told the teacher and I got in trouble. About two weeks later, my parents are dragging me to the barber. Guess who was sporting a fresh buzzcut for the first time? They claimed it was for summer coming up, but I later found out that the teacher called my mother regarding my teasing that kid. Mom didn't let on that she knew anything. My "just desserts" were received two weeks later at the barber's.

So what about the rest of you? Did they force you as punishment, because they thought it would look cute, or any other reason?
