Does pool chlorine mess up your hair?

If you dont wash your hair after you go swimming, will it mess it up?

Over time it does. You don't have to wash it everytime you get out, just rinsing is okay. You should wet it before you go in so the chlorine doesn't absorb in your hair so easily, and rinse when you get out. Also a deep conditioner every couple weeks. But man, pools are worth it! :-)

Yes it will especially if you have fine hair. it will turn green. Youneed a good shampoo and conditioner after swimming. If your hair is colored you should use Logics s/c. Or Biolage s/c. but you should definetly wash it after swimming. These products can be obtained by purchasing at JCPenny styling salon or trade secrets in your local mall.

YES! it can turn blond hair green. and, it can make any ones hair dry out and feel like straw. u should always shampoo and condition hair as soon as you can after swimming.

if you put a bottle of water on hair before you go swimming every time and when you get out of the pool, yur hair will be protected and will not damage
