i have long hair and it's a mess after taking off the helmet.. new at this motorcycle stuff....it's all new to me.

Warriors in old times braided their beard and their hair together and coiled it around the head and under the cheek plates of their helmets to provide padding against blows. Might be something to think about.

ponytails can make the helmat uncomfortable soo i would say either a LOW ponytail or low semi-loose bun, but tdown is probably the best and always carry a small brush or comb just in case

Pony tail, and bring a hat for when you take your helmet off (or a bandanna).

Pull it back in a ponytail or ponytail-wrap with some cool earings.

I braid my ponytail, and tuck it into the back of my shirt. Tucking it in keeps it from whipping around, and the braid keeps it from tangling so badly.
