You go to a braid shop. (Here in Detroit, there are alot of Africian owned braid shop) They should be able to add hair extensions in with your own hair in order to braid it. The hair is not actually weaved in (not in the traditional since of being sown or put in with adhesive), it is added as the braid is being braided with your own hair.

If you go to any African hair shop/salon, they will grip any hair you have already, depends on how much hair u got, because they can grip even the tiniest of hair! If you have like a low afro, it can be done, even with 2-4 inches of hair!!

With cornrow extensions, the hair and the weave are "interweaved" meaning that the cornrow is blended from front to back. Synthetic extensions dry the hair out and cause hair to break.

Hope it comes out ok :)

DO NOT GET WEAVE IN YOUR HAIR!!!! You are a DUDE!!

If it's not long enough for braids, let it grow some more, and then get it braided. Otherwise, cut it to a DECENT fade.

you can use weave in it. It's not just for the tail. It can also be used at the top to grip.
