Ignore my avatar for the moment, but when I was in third grade, I made fun of this kid who had just gotten a buzzcut. He told the teacher and I got in trouble. About two weeks later, my parents are dragging me to the barber. Guess who was sporting a fresh buzzcut for the first time? They claimed it was for summer coming up, but I later found out that the teacher called my mother regarding my teasing that kid. Mom didn't let on that she knew anything. My "just desserts" were received two weeks later at the barber's.
So what about the rest of you? Did they force you as punishment, because they thought it would look cute, or any other reason?

No, but with this in mind, I remember screwing around and cuttin a big hunk off the front of my bangs, and having to get a hair cut to try covering it up. The thing is, was that by doing this, it made it twice as worse, and to add to that, my class pictures were the following day. So to sum it up, that years pictures were the worst during my whole time I was in school. Real quick, I remember my parents sayin that my hair, before my hair cut, looked worse, than after, I got it cut. My parents now, look at them pictures and would have to agree, I look like a fricken dork!!!!!!!

My foster-mother made me have hair that was shorter than most of the boys I knew. It was about 2 inches on top and about 1/2 and inch on the sides. According to her(she still has a bee-hive hairstyle from the 60's!) EVERYONE needs to have short hair. She would say the meanest things until I would get it cut. Now my hair is down to my waist and I have a phobia of getting it cut..Thanks Mom!

Sure did ! I used to get the classic " basin cut " ; where my father put a soup bowl on my head and used the lip of the bowl as a cutting guide.
It ended up looking a lot like Mo's from the Three Stooges.

Yep. Here I was in high school going to Spain. My mom and my hairdresser thought I need a "body perm." I thought, and they agreed, that it would just make my hair thicker. Turns out, it was just a poodle perm and I looked like Orphan Annie! I was not happy!
