I used to be popular and pretty. When I was in 8th grade i decided that i didn't like me "popular" friends. They got into bad stuff and i went on and found better friends for myself. My grades are slipping and i have had 1 boyfriend since i changed myself. I really like this guy and i want to impress him by looking different.
Also, my parents think i am stupid. I want to totally prove them wrong and go to HARVARD! (i know i know..but i want to try) Any suggestions? I want to make myself look gorgeous and smart, and pretty. I don't want to become popular again and get into doing bad things, but i want to make myself better. I want a totally new look. I am already a huge prep...reccommend any good preppy stores? Only nice answers please. I am not changing myself for other people really...so i can have a nice future. So here are the questions:

How do i study better?
How should i change myself?

I go to a private highschool,and we have the worst uniforms (jumpers,button down oxfords,and knee socks). I've been trying to improve it by wearing cute ballet flats and fun hairstyles,but no matter what I feel like a a huffalump wearing a tent! Help!

Ladies tank tops...?
I've literally trekked every shop in town and every shop in the mall, and I cannot find tank tops anywhere!! I've tried ebay, Next, Gap, you name it..

I'm trying to find somewhere (online preferably) that sells tank tops. I'm not after the strappy ones, I'm after the ones you wear over a shirt for office wear.

Anyone know where I can find them?

It is amazing what Amreica women will do to hide them under their outfits... They can feel perfectly comfortable in a low cut, slinky, sexy dress, but put tape over their nipples! What gives? Victoria's Secret even airbrushes them out of their catalogs!

She is 12 and wants to be able to dress like her friends. We have had to shop for her in the woments section and she wears a 9 in woments pants. I have tried buying her the XL shirts in the JR's section but her upper torso is so long, her belly hangs out and up top she's bigger than me. Pants, when she bends over, her half her crack shows. Please help me help her. Her self-esteem is very low.

I keep bending and losing my earrings ("real" gold but nothing of exceptional quality, but none the less, it's not cheap to keep buying them) so I have been thinking of buying some gold filled earrings after reading that there is real gold on the outside and they say they can last you for awhile if you take care of them. Do they really hold up well or fade quickly like gold tone or plated gold? I'd rather save my money to buy some "real" gold earrings if the filled ones are no better the fake earrings I remember wearing as a kid. Thanks.
