How do I look cute in a dorky uniform?

Question

I go to a private highschool,and we have the worst uniforms (jumpers,button down oxfords,and knee socks). I've been trying to improve it by wearing cute ballet flats and fun hairstyles,but no matter what I feel like a a huffalump wearing a tent! Help!

Hey haah that is a nasty looking uniform. Definitly dress it up by maybe getting it hemmed to be shorter(not too much though) and wearing cute accessories. Dont button the two top buttons and also you can wearing cool knee highs like maybe polka dotted ones or something. Also get adorable shoes that noone else has. Make sure you wear a cute bag and also have different hairstyles like maybe curling it or straigntening it with different accessories. Long necklaces are a plus but if your not allowed to wear them then short will do=] i hope this helps you to be the cutest private school girl!

Wow that is one ugly uniform! Anyways... you have the write idea with the shoes and hairstyle. That is exactly what you need to do. Have fun with accessories also! I don't know if this breaks any school rule but try a cute tie or a fun colored tank top underneath. Also try some funky tights. Play up your face with big earrings and pretty makeup and cute hairstyles. Try some heels too.. not just ballet flats....since you don't have much to work with you have to work EXTRA hard!! you can do it!! =)

Spice it up with color. Under that button down shirt wear like a hot pink tank top and leave it un buttoned so its visible. bright colored jewelry, chunky neclaces. lots of bracelets. And colored shoes not just black or brown. And feel free to wear colorful make up too. Don't try to look like a clown but add a splash of color here and there! And the hair wear ribbons in your hair colorful things will make you feel so much better even in a uniform. But it also depends on the school. dress codes and all. but I hope that helps!

alright u know how models can pull of completely wierd outfits w/ hats or feathers comin out the side of their heads well its sorta like that. make sure u own it, make it your own, have cute hair and makeup, its all in the details, but don't over do it. maybe some jewelry. whatever you do act confident... even if you aren't. everyone will beleive its hot just bc u think it is. i know its cliche, but its true just try it. : )

GuRL I have three things to say. All you have to do is accessories, make it your your own, and rock it to the highest level. I know this because I go to Greater Atlanta, a private school and we have have uniforms. Hope this helps!!

Instead of making your clothing to have more fun try different things with make-up to funk it up even more. Cool Nail Polishes or Jewelery. I dont know if your allowed to wear them but try that out anyways.

The best thing you can do is not feel self-conscious in it. If you feel confident you will look cuter and prettier. Just remember everyone else has to wear it too.

My suggestion would be to wear cute jewellery, makeup, do your hair cute and different, and fun shoes.....colorful and fun accesories will brighten up your boring outfit....also smile and rock your outfit even if it looks bad
