I used to be popular and pretty. When I was in 8th grade i decided that i didn't like me "popular" friends. They got into bad stuff and i went on and found better friends for myself. My grades are slipping and i have had 1 boyfriend since i changed myself. I really like this guy and i want to impress him by looking different.
Also, my parents think i am stupid. I want to totally prove them wrong and go to HARVARD! (i know i know..but i want to try) Any suggestions? I want to make myself look gorgeous and smart, and pretty. I don't want to become popular again and get into doing bad things, but i want to make myself better. I want a totally new look. I am already a huge prep...reccommend any good preppy stores? Only nice answers please. I am not changing myself for other people really...so i can have a nice future. So here are the questions:

Congratulations on finding a new group of friends-that was a great step. Now use it to help you; friends are the best for advice! You can study together,which will help your grades and be a lot of fun. Ask your parents if you can do it at your house,and they might be impressed that your trying to improve your grades (make sure you really do study though!:)
Also,ask your friends if they have suggestions about how you could do your hair/makeup (DON'T bug them about it though!)
You could plan a shopping trip together,or do make overs.
But remember,no matter how much you change on the outside,what really matters is inside-and that is what will impress your friends,parents,and bf the most.

Preppy Stores:

its all about polos with popped collars, pearls, polka dots, and of course the mini skirts and ballet flats.
Studying:
- turn off all electronics (i.e. iPod, tv, computer) to avoid temptation during a study session
- eat before you start to prevent excuses to get food while studying
- make sure that you have everything you need with you in the room, on the table, within reach.
- try to study in a room that is quiet and near an open window. just make sure you catch yourself if you start looking at something outside
- make a list of what you have to do after school, list it in order by how much time it will take, how easy it is, or how important it is (how much of a grade is it worth)
for example if your homework was:
- social studies packet
- read chapter 4 in english book
- study for math quiz tomorrow
- science test next week
- french vocabulary flashcards
here would be a good way to figure out what to do first:
- math quiz- worth a lot towards your grade and is tomorrow
- social studies packet- packets are often time consuming
- french flashcards- this is a good way to create a little bit of a less stressful homework session, make it fun by using bright neon cards, glitter pens, or a funky font (if typing)
- science test- tests are very important so try to start studying a little bit each day for a week.
- english reading- this is a good way to end your homework. if it is late you can read in bed, or if not you can just get comfy on the couch.
Change:
- changing your hairstyle really helps me when i want to kind of "start over". It really like literally takes a lot of the weight off of you that overpowers you at school, sports, or whatever.
- switch up the clothing a bit! you can still be preppy but you can add your own flare too it. a great way to do this is to be a so called "scene prep". Add cute patterns like dinosaurs and robots into your wardrobe. Wear cute bows in your hair. Skinny jeans and ballet flats, and some chunky jewelry.
- don't try to fit in with the crowd, fit in with your life, how you feel about something is what matters most.
- don't worry about acting like a fool or getting embarrassed in public, you can pull it off! Laugh it off, make a joke, or make sure you have a trusted friend or boyfriend with you to prevent immature teasing!
Be comfortable with yourself!

ok first of all u need to raise ur self steam cuz u want to be better for ur saick not for stupid guy u want to impress ok u got to study like 4 hours a day at least u got to study the lesson u took and going to take and listen well in the lecture do ur home work that's everyday . but don't turn into a nerd keep time for urself and ur beauty keep time for ur relationships and stop talking to those bad friends and go for batter people to show this guy ur now better and ur priority is always to study .
p.s if u wear slutty clothes dont and everyone u respect urself .

Aeropostale is a great prep store, and if you want to go to Harvard, you have to study HARD! Pay major attention to everything your teachers say. Don't focus on your boyfriend, but doing homework and studying your homework and checking it. Make sure that you are ready for tests. You can also ask your parents for a tutor.

First of all, you dont need to be popular to be have fun and have amazing friends! Keep that in mind when socializing! One thing that changed my entire life was modeling. Im in 10th grade now but in middle school i was a huge dork. When i got to high school everything changed! all the guys love me and i have tons of friends. The difference in me was my confidence level! CONFIDENCE=SEXY! I went to my local Barbizon where i learned soo much and gained loads of self confidence. Im a different person. I was also given great oppourtunity in the modeling world. They gave me good make-up and hair advice as well as social etiquette. Go to www.modelingschools.com and find a Barbizon near you! Modeling is so fun!

a store with cute clothes - Aeropastale. It's not expensive either.
to study..........flashcards...write or type notes for yourself and review them..... i can't think of anything else.
