Check out that article - apparently a Gap store was supposed to have opened in Dubai in 2006, but I didn't see it on the store locater.
Have you tried souq.com - it's like Emirates E-bay.

Try Mall of the Emirates, if it's gonna be anywhere in Dubai then THAT's where it will be.

go to www.gap.com and scroll to the bottom of the pg.
There youll find GAP store locater.
Select the locater.
Then answer all of the questions.
